i know right now the lighting is not offered in the 1SS, i'm hoping GM changes their minds and decides to offer it to the customers that don't like leather. do you think GM will offer it as a dealer installed part? if not, will the dash be built the same on all the cars with the electrical components there so that maybe we as the consumer can look for lights ourselves and get it connected?

will it be easy to get the interior lighting done aftermarket? how would i go about doing this? would any detailing shop be able to do this? and why can't we just get this done as a dealer installed option?

Okay...I don't know what type of LED lights Chevy is putting into this car but I believe that a) blue is the cheapest LED and b) orange/amber is most expensive so...

I wonder if the options will be blue LEDs or white LEDs with orange lens and in the future any other color lens option. Even easier and to keep cost down they might go with white only LEDs and colored lens - blue, orange, red, green, etc.

I'm pretty sure it's already been established they are using white LED's with tinted panels. There was another thread about this somewhere.

Aye Johnnycamaro (aka John Cox) said that the color of the lighting is controlled by the color of the covers over the light. Blue will be blue covers, orange will be orange covers and yellow will be yellow covers.
