I just had them installed on my Camaro. bought them a GMpartsdirect.com for $160 including tax and shipping, and dealer installed them for $80 :( But they look good and work great. Before i put them on i only had 1 rock chip on the gills that i touched up and these will help when i drive in the winter.

I've got them on both of my Camaros. My wife's six had about 3000 miles or so on it when I got my eight and hers had several rock chips on the gill area. I got two sets of guards from GMPartsDirect (no problems with the order and fast delivery, installed them myself on both cars) and put them on the cars at the same time. She's got like 10,000 miles on hers and I've got like 3000 or so on mine now and she's got no more chips that I can see and I have none. I think these things make a difference.

I got mine from GMPartsDirect as well. The fit is great and I like the way they look.

Will the splash guards work on ground effects? It appears as if it would be a bit crowded!

Nope. It's splash guards OR ground effects, but not both.

Ordered mine when I bought the 1LT IOM. Dealer installed them on April 6. I live in a small city (POP 5000) and there are a lot of gravel roads around here.

Yes, I put them on right after I took delivery of my 2SS RJT. THey are a must for this car, IMO. THey really protect, while not detracting from the lines on this car.

My dealer quoted me $386.00 installed - NFW (the parts guy did say that was an outrageous price)! I'll try GMpartsdirect. I like the protection they offer and I like the look.

They are a breeze to put on by yourself. It took maybe an hour. I really like them. gm parts direct was the cheapest I found.

I'm not a huge fan of the look but having them on will look better than rock chips in the paint I guess.

Thanks for that. Did you have to take the wheels off prior to installing?
