chrome yes, because its a trim piece, but black pieces suggest from a distance that the vent is working

I've always planned on chrome inserts for the shark gills. I was also planning on chrome tail lamp trim, but since that's standard, that's a moot point. I might do some small chrome pieces elsewhere, but I don't want to end up looking like a wannabe of a wannabe gangsta.

I hope that somebody does make a trim piece like on the 69. Actually the concept that I saw in Pittsburgh, the red push car looked like it had black trim on the "gills", I don't even know if the vents were functional on it but it looked good. They were raised about 1/2" above the sheet metal. If factory dosen't offer this, I hope the aftermarket will.
