I don't think that there are any req's for helmets.

Perhaps Curt could enlighten us.???

Don't worry Rich, I'm still thinkin about it too...I'm sayin "eh" right now but I know once I get there, I'll cave in like a fat kid at a walmart standing in the easter candy aisle.

I hope your car is back together too.....that car will track dirty!

Any pics of how she came out of paint???

We are in for the 8th We'll see everyone on the 2nd then at 7:30am on the 8th. We'll have to take off before noon so unfortunately no cruz'n for us.

Curt - If we need helmet what Snell rating do we need, and yes I know there are M and A rated helmets.

Helmets are not required. I'll put together some track rules before our track day and post them here. Typically, folks don't over do it and keep the speed under control. Passing is not allowed unless indicated by the driver in front of you (I'll spell out that signal in the rules). It's mostly common sense rules.

I highly recommend you get some private instruction by our infamous Jim Guthrie (Indy race car driver and SMS President) that will be on site. He'll be there with his Ford GT and Chevy Corvette and will be willing to give rides and instruction. I'll check with him to see if he'll charge a fee or not (I doubt he will). He's taught me alot, making it a more enjoyable experience.

Stay tuned...

Killin me brotha! lol

I dunno...prolly a question for Curt. I'd assume that the $20 pays for the 30 minute run....so another $20 would pay for .....another 30 minute run??

Curt is the guy who would know for sure..."CJingle" is who you are looking to PM.

No....ROFLMAO.

My Brothers STI is a monster....I think he's done nothing more than change to Mobil 1 oil in it.

Still has paper element air filter and stock wheels and everything.

Those cars are no joke....at all.

But you should still come out and bring it.
