2SS/RS LS3 15-16mpg in town.
After I broke her in I did a lot of racing and averaged 6.5mpg on 2 tanks. |

My 1SS-6M has been steadily climbing since I brought it out of hibernation. Before hibernation, back in Sept-Oct, at 1-2K miles, around 15-17 mpg in 50/50 mix of driving.
Now it is 18-20 mpg with 3K miles and I have not changed my driving habits, fuel, etc. at all. I am getting 24-25 mpg in all highway driving.

25 on the v6 mixed driving if i consciously try to conserve gas.
35+ on the highway using the cruise control at 55 mph. |

My car gets around 26 to 27 if it's all highway driving. I'll see what I get on the way to Camaro5 fest and back...

2ss ls3 I've only driven in town so any where form 13 to 14 mpg. I've got 1900 miles on it so far so not thinking the Mpgs are gonna get much better. But I didn't buy it for gas mileage.

I won't lie the gas mileage rating was a bit misleading, at least on the 6. Then again I am still learning manual so that could be part of it.

I drive round trip to work every day about 96 miles. I average about 23mpg. All interstae driving...2LT V-6 auto...Without cruise on...
