You need more details...
Was it s green TURNING light (A green left arrow), or just a green light, and you turn when clear?
You obviously said she had her blinker on, so you KNEW she was turning, and even if her turning into the 2nd lane is wrong, Unless you had a green TURNING light, she had the right of way, and in that case, it is YOUR JOB to make sure that SHE is paying attention and going to do what she signals, and she's right.
However, if it was a Green turning light, than she's at fault.

lol... yeah, im really confused now. But you know, when i was Learning how to drive, I could swear, when you are making a Right turn, you STAY on your lane. You are not legally allowed to change to the left lane right away, unless you have the left turn signal for a lane change. But yeah guys... Thanks for your input. Sigh... what a bad day.

No, there were no Green turn lights. Just a straight Green light. But I saw that she had the Right turn signal... I gave enough room for her to turn... I just didnt think she would come to the Left lane where im heading RIGHT AWAY. o_o...

Sorry to hear of your accident.I know that it must heartbreaking for you but take a breath and try to think positive about the outcome of this situation.Hopefully if you were doing the right thing it will come out.You will be ok and your car will be on the road shortly again.Remember one thing never assume what the other person is going to do.I have changed my driving habits the past few years.I don't assume some one is going to turn in front of me just because they have their signal on.I wait and see if they do.I see so many people that don't even use signals now-days.So many others change their minds and continue on.I used to be the first one off the light change but not anymore.I wait and let others next to me pull away first.Too many people running yellow caution and red lights these days.Have to drive defensive at all times.Too many bone heads not paying attention. And don't be so hard on your self and don't stereo type yourself like that. You are just like the rest of us.An avid camaro owner who is crazy over his car. It will all work out.

This is true unless one of the drivers is making a left turn (which the OP was). Drivers making a left turn NEVER has the right-a-way and must ALWAYS yield to the other drivers. With her making a right turn and him making a left turn he will be deemed at fault regardless of how many lanes there was as she has the right-a-way and the right chose what lane she wants first.

The ONLY way she could be at fault is if she had a red light and he had a green light in which case she has to yield to him.

Than, I don't recommend trying to fight it, because making a left turn on a straight green light, It's your job to make sure it's clear, sure she's in the wrong for turning into the second lane, I agree, but if you try to fight it, you'll be in the wrong for not making sure it was safe.

Well put, and like he said, he had a straight green light, not a turning light, that means that she also has a green light, and he is at fault.

maybe you should read everything before you post, he clearly said that he was sitting at a red light waiting to turn left onto a street with 2 lanes, the light then changes green and he starts his left turn and she starts her right turn, but she did not make a proper right turn into the right lane, but decided to go right into the left lane, this is 100% her fault.

Maybe you should read your driving handbook again.
If he had a straight green light, he has to make sure it's 100% clear to turn, and even if she was morally wrong, he is at fault.

I've lived in Cali for 16 years before moving out here, It's the same thing there to. It clearly states "If making a left hand turn, the driver must yield until the turn is safe." (Not those 100% exact words, but very close, and I don't want to try to find my book.)
