Just had to have my windshield replaced about a week ago. Seems like rocks are attracted to 'em, it was the second one to hit it, the 1st only chipped, the 2nd one put about a 6 inch crack----couldn't have that, so replaced.

IIRC, I think most of them pay 100% of chip repair, without any penalty for making a claim.

They will fix it, but the cost to fix is usually under the deductible.

on the bottom of your red and white state farm card there is a series of numbers and letters. your deductible for your windshield is the numbers after the letter D.

should be similar to this

Get it fixed while its small and fresh.. if it accumulates dirt then it will be too late to repair the crack.

Its cheap to repair, as one has already mentioned.. $12.

A lot of states have laws that require insurance companies to replace one windshield in a year with no deductible. Of course that requires full coverage insurance, but I have no doubt you have full coverage!!
