Either way I was so relieved to see an Officer looking over our cars. I have been to a lot of shows of all types and have never seen anything like that. Kudo's to whoever set it up.

On a side note the Officer very well could have been looking for a C5'er that was bad the night before.
That is our offical hotel at SGMP and the management and I discussed security for the event and they said they would take care of it for us.They are great bunch over there.

I had no worries. Although I was in the parking lot till about 2 a.m. each night. IMO that was just as fun as the fest. It was all part of the great experience.

That was acualy the least worried I've been. That was the only three nights mine wasnt in a garage. I coverd mine in Knoxville the first night, but once we got to the hotel in Ga. and saw all the others, I just had to let her sit with all her BFFs. I did find an empty soda cup on the RH rear quarter on Sunday morning....but no foul I guess.

That is a very classy thing that you and hotel did. My hat is off to you and the Wingate, it is very much appreciated and I will be writing the hotel to show my gratitude to them and will definately stay there again !

SGMP, Wingate and the City of Valdosta definately showed all visitors what Southern Hospitality is all about.
