Anyone know what the date was they changed this? I don't think mine has it but since I bought it off the lot idk...I'm 90% sure I don't have them...

Not sure exact date, but if I understand my dealer correctly, any current Camaro coming off the production line will have the sensors.

Easy to tell, If you don't have the 4 little round disks across the back bumper then you don't have it...

Thinking I don't have them then- I got my car 9/2 so...she was built before then...crap...
Oh well I don't have issues backing up - it's a front end sensor I need ....I still end up with like a foot of room in front of me because I'm afraid of hitting the bumper....

ya i was looking at those pages lol, but i was looking at the owner pdf on this forum... guess that manual is outdated then because it talks about the lights on those pages in that version lol

You'll definitely know if you have the backup warning system. It beeps every time you shift into reverse.

If I remember correctly, they started adding this feature on cars being built after Aug 30 2009.

Somewhere during the week of 9/11. Another member has the same born on date as mine, 9/11 and I don't have them be he does (he has a higher VIN number too). So they must also be tied to color, that is use up existing inventory before the cut over.
