Ordered my Borla S Type cat back a few days ago. I was originally thinking borla ATAK but after listening to the video on BORLA sit. It sounds like the ATAK system may have to much drone for me.

For those who are cost conscious u can check out Cherry Bombs, i think the cat back system sells for $300 doesn't sound bad at all.

If you are dumping over a grand in exhaust... you should consider getting longtubes with the stock exhaust. Sounds nice, adds nice HP (unlike the catback), no drone, loud at WOT.

Doug Thorley Catback at $499 by far the best bang for the buck.

Agreed x 5!

Dig it:

1 7/8's are there for the Forced Induction folks looking for a better flowing exhaust dynamics.

Not worth the cost for anyone not planning on going H/C/I later with at least a S/C or Turbo application.

Best of luck in your decision and let me know if I can help!

I'd look into the headers option but I think that would void the crap out of my warranty - a warranty I don't have the luxury of voiding. From what I can tell, the only real mods I can do until that expires or I make it big are intake and exhaust. What is it that makes the DT and Cherry bomb cat-backs so inexpensive? Are the Flowmaster and Borla really that much better performance or sound wise?

ask the service manager at your dealership about the warranty. You may be surprised.
