searching hi and low for Fuel pump options and I have found no one to that will recomend the BAP in the camaro as a very good option especially with the type levels of fuel you will be requireing.

Most have either adeded a secondary fuel pump in the fuel system some where which will require tapping into your fuel lines some where and bypassing your ecm or have added a dual pump system like fastlanes Deuce pump. I have had one of those on order for over a month now and they are in the middle of an upgrade and haven't given me any indication as to when those will be shipping. Last update I got was in three weeks ( That was two days ago) I have emailed them for an update but have heard nothing as of yet, Most are waiting for parts from GM because all their parts are GM components and the two pumps are staged and are a drop in replacement.

I have heard positive comments about their system except by one other manufacturer. I have heard they are reliable to 800HP

Just can't gert my hands on one.

Ordered an ADM dual pump system today which they claim are even more reliable than Fastlanes but If I sold tham I would too....they cost alot more too...Not sure of what the actual difference is but will find out soon. I have a scheduled Dyno tune the 18th with upgraded fuel sysytem 10% overdrive crank pulley and 3.6 maggie pulley. Should be an even 10lbs of boost with a safe tune on 93 octane. Just need the pump so I can get it all put together before the 18th.

I would however be very careful with The BAP in your situation. With the kind of Boost and fuel requirements you are going to need on a safe tune I would highly recomend you do some serious research on the fuel system side of things or you will be almost surely risking a quick melt down at high rpm's even for a short burst.

Again...Don't shoot the messenger, and its your car, but fuel delivery is a very important part of the equation and I think the money you spend on Pulleys Tunes etc will all be wasted if you don't get the fuel you need. It is very well documented that these cars run out of fuel quickly after the 500 to 525 horse range unless you run them very lean. I know in my neck of the woods where we get some very cool days and nights In spring and fall we need all the fuel we can get for that dense air charge.

Good luck with BAP but I think I would do a little more research with the kind of numbers you are looking for or you will most likely have an early and ugly meltdown and I would hate to see that happen to anyone.JMHO

Fair warning...not an expert by any means but I have researched it long and hard since I suffer from fuel deprovation!

I was told just today that LPE has switched to ADM's dual pump set up in there higher HP applications. Only hear say but from a reliable source.

Keep me posted on you results and I will do the same. I will be posting my dyno sheets as soonas I get my darn fuel pump from somewhere. Actually have three ordered right now but all are waoiting on GM components except ADM and even they are I had to get mine from one of their supliers who bought a bunch of them.

This car has a 3.1" pulley, ported heads, 224/239 cam with .629 lift, 2" primery Kooks headers, 3" Exhaust, Rotofab intake, Ported TB.

Makes 9psi of boost

2.9" will be going on soon in the quest for 750 rwhp

I may go ahead and change the BAP and install a dual pump system down the road. I'm also installing a meth kit, so hopefully that will help. Thanks for the great advice.

I am using a Hennesy CAI on Both cars....

That was about all that was available when I put the Maggies on. I got both cars from the dealer with Maggies installed. LS3 was an early order car with a Vin in the 4800 Range. At that point I was grabbing all I could find for the car in the way of Parts but was happy with the out come. I only changed Headers and cats to ARH on L99 Everything else was originally the same.

Now I have 3.6 pulley on it.

Pics in My albums...

I have read several posts on different forums and if memory serves me right the BAP will work for a while if installed downstream of the pump module or computer but than begins blowing fuses. If it is installed before the BAP doesn't like the modulating voltages that the fuel moduel sends and plays havoc with the BAP. I will try and find those posts a copy them to this page.

Hope it all works out for you...You may be right on the meth injection I have no experience or knowlege on the effects of that and would be interested in hearing how you come out. I think BAP will work for a while down stream but have heard several guys say they eventually start blowing fuses.

I have a ADM Dual pump Kit on its way be here tomorrow begin install on Monday so I will see what happens with it. Its getting good reviews so far....Time will tell. I think I will wait on the L99 until I get some solid first hand experience. Not a cheap upgrade between the pumps and time to install but will be worth it as it paves the way for future upgrades and keeps me from worrying about dangerous lean out conditions.

As soon as I get the pump and pulleys installed and get to my tune on the 18th I will post the dyno results so others can determine if the investment is worth while.
