You should do a separate post, there is a 12 bolt out there, but the 9 inch might be just what the doctor ordered.. gdamn thing has metric bolts, why not a 9 inch!

Does the speedshop recalibrate both the analog and digital speedometers? If not, then your speedo is way off.

Can anyone help me with a formula to calculate accurate MPH with a 4.10 gear change? I am choosing not to recalibrate due to warranty issues...

Recalibration will not effect your warranty, its not the same as a performance tune. Not adjusting the speedo will also throw off your odometer and make you mileage higher than it should be.

Are you sure that recalibration won't show as a reflash of the ECM? You have to understand that we have real Sh....tty dealers here--they wanted not to fixe a wheel sensor because I hade new sway bars on!!

What does it take to recalibrate?

Thanks!!

There are definitely dealership service departments out there that are going to challenge you on everything they possibly can because they can charge you more than GM will pay them for the warranty repair. You just have to be willing to stand up and say, "Do you think you will be able to prove my faulty TPS sensor was caused by my sway bar in court?". My suggestion is to take your business to a dealer that knows what customer service is, even if it's a further drive.

Correcting your speedo isn't adjusting any of the operating perameters in the cars computer system, therefore it can not be linked to any potential issue. I can't say that a douche bag service manager won't try to, I'm just saying it won't stand up if you don't let it.

They're ignoring you. I'd like to know about a 4.10 swap for the V6 also.

Lol, there just isn't any feedback to give. Everyone is waiting on someone else to do it first.

OK, but can you even get a 4.10 kit for the V6?

If so, where?

No, there are no V6 specific 4.10s.
