Anyway if the seats look the same as the front and keep the price down I can live with it. I'll be really happy if the Camaro is priced comparable to the GTO.

Now if the seats were cloth in the back.....not cool.

I agree with you. I don't really have people in the back a whole lot and as long as the seats in the back look like the front im ok...cloth in the back would be HORRIBLE!!!

If the fronts are leather and the rears are vinyl that's some BS right there.

It's that plastic material made to look like leather when it really isn't.

I don't really mind, my dad has vinyl seats in his custom '65 Plymouth Valiant and it felt like a nice material at the time at least. That was a while ago though so I might remember things wrong. In any case the back seats won't get a huge amount of use seeing as I'm 6'3" and need the drives seats pushed back a bit usually.

IMO, leather is leather....and the cost one pays for leather is for leather. NOT for vinyl. I don't really want to upgrade to .....vinyl.

Wonder how this will turn out. Looking forward to seeing it.

You sure its real leather front and rear? Leather and Pleather look the same. Its hard to tell the difference unless you look at the backside. Leather is rough and unfinished on the backside, Pleather has a fabric backing. You'd be surprised how many Leather Sofas sold these days are Pleather. You just think your'e getting real leather because the price is so high.

you cant even tell a difference visually from the leather front and vinyl back. the only way i can tell is because i detail cars and i spend alot of time inside cars.
i must say of all the cars ive detailed, fords interior is the worste by far.

I also want to know about the front seats - is the entire seat leather, or just the outer trim, and the perforated portion you sit on is pleather? What will it be for the front seats????

No one will really use my back seat, so it doesn't matter to me. But, if the back is not leather, I expect that the price differential to upgrade to leather will reflect that you are only upgrading the front to leather. The price upgrade should not be very much.

For perspective, pleather/vinyl is standard on $35K+ BMWs, and you have to pay big bucks to upgrade to leather. It is expensive stuff.

Now if the front seats are all leather and the back seats are vinyl that is fine with me, since I never had any illusions that they were anything other than a penalty chamber anyway. However if sections of the front seats are vinyl...well then I have an issue.
