Centrifugal superchargers suck. Just throwing that out there, go with Magnuson or Magnacharger who will also have a twin screw setup for Camaro.

From what have read , I'm sold on the Magnuson. Its supose to bybass and allow it to only draw less than 1 hp. Now that efficent. If you go, Magnuson count me in. Hell, isnt the larger one the one used on the ZR!? I'm going the L99 route, but I have not run nto anything that says it cant be done.
I'm Number 8 at my dealer for mine BTW

If they can give you special dealer pricing for a bulk order, it should save a significant amount. If they give you bulk pricing as a retail order, maybe not as much. Thoughts?
Maybe if a few of us that live not too far apart we can organize a weekend road trip to some place with a large garage/warehouse where we can all install together. Or maybe a place with a Dyno where we can get some bulk dyno time to baseline before install, baseline after install, and then after fine tuning. Just thinking out loud...

I am all for the group install. I actually have a couple places that coudl work local for me, or we could try to arrange something closer to a larger group of folks...
As for pricing..I am approaching people as a dealer so that I can get the best deal possible for us all. I am not going to mark up anything, as I want a system just as much as you all do. Now I have heard from Procharger whom said we coudl try to work something out, and I am also in discussions with a well known F-body company who builds custom turbo setups who said we could also try to work something out. Would any of you be interested in either of those deals??? I can run both deals if I can get enough people for each...I would think 10 a piece would get us some good pricing cuts... Post on here, AND PM ME IF INTERESTED< THAT IS HOW I KEEP A LIST!!!! |

I was going to opt for the 21" rims - but spending $4,600 is crazy.
I will put that towards a supercharger instead.

I also want to wait until I get the car break the motor in while it's natually aspirated.
Then I would think - according to my Chevrolet Parts Dept. - We will get a GM Perfomance Supercharger through GM?? Not sure - I work for the dealer so I get 10% over our cost

interesting, i know thats probably the only thing i dont like about teh procharger is on my truck it takes forever it seems like to hit full boost, on teh bottom end just seems like its still N/A. i know its not though, guess i'm just getting to used to it.
[Tim Allen]NEED MORE POWER [/Tim allen] wm holden did the magnuson kit come with different injectors or a booster pump or what? i know the procharger kit came with a aux fuel pump and a FMU. how does the mag kit handle the extra fuel needs? i only ask cuz your sig says no other mods. |
