Rod1,

I was looking at the engine the other day and trying to figure out where they would route the intake. The space just over the radiator is blocked. Do you have any idea how they do it?

I notice the V8 version says "no cutting or drilling." What am I missing here?

there is a baffle you remove. some plastic peice that is clipped in. take that out and the vararam rests against the core support infront of radiator

Okay, that makes sense. Will have to look more closely next time I've got the hood up.

Almost sure you'll have to tilt the radiator back to make a larger opening like the v8 application.

I think the Rad will have to be tilted back as well. I'm sure it is tilted back slightly on the V8.

Personally I am going to wait for Vararam and Cold Air Inductions to come out with theirs. I'm hoping the manufacturers all get the same independent testing the V8 CAI's got. Cold Air Inductions showed the nicest gains. Can't remember if injen was among them or not.

I like the reported gains of the Injen, but I'm like a cat on a hot tin roof when I consider it could pick up water. :(

I've seen the Cold Air Inductions on the V8 and it is a slick looking unit. There is also an aftermarket "Ram Air" hood made to accommodate it is well. Depends on how far a person wants to go I suppose, and what they hope to gain. LOL
