The last manual i had before this was back in 2002, a brand new cavalier. My wife just couldnt get it with that car and gave up after about 5 times trying to learn. With the camaro, about 15 minutes and she was road ready. I dont know if thetes that much difference in the cars or if its because shes now 9 years older.

The first manual i ever drove was a 93 VW. I was in the army then, in 1996. I went, looked at the car, then bought it and learned to drive it on the way back to fort gordon. They re really not hard at all.

Save 900 dollars when you go manual, that's all the motivation I need.

It is easy. Learned in an hour. Took a while to perfect though.

They definitely are not hard to drive, but boy can they be annoying if you have to drive much in traffic.

OP, please report back once you learn how to change gears without a clutch. Before you say I'm wrong, yes it's possible. It's called floating the clutch.

It's not that we assume that every 18 year old male is reckless. We're just going off of the statistics that say 18 year old boys are reckless.
