And what about this? Apparently in another thread it was said that only 20% of production will be SS cars, and there are 2 versions of the SS: 1ss and 2ss. so lets say there are only 10% production of 2ss's which is what i want. Since the americans got a 3 day head start in ordering, what are the odds i will even get my car in 2009 when so few 2ss cars are even being made? they will all be ordered up before canadians (the ones making the car) even get a chance.

Look at how they price their other vehicles compared to the US and you'll see what I mean.
I'm going to wait. Let the initial rush pass and then they will be more realistic to deal with, especially if the economy slows right down this winter.
Not really, well maybe i just wanted to order my car already but look at it this way, they said before the wanted to price it in mustang territory, but they really priced it at 1k over the challenger, our challenger SE goes for 24,995, therefor my guess is that the ls will go for 25,995, any more then that and im going to have to get a challenger which i seriously will never be happy with, i want either my fully loaded IOM lt2/rs with everything except the sunroof
I understand what you mean but by the looks of it, we wont have many for a while, most dealerships have told me they will most likely only be gettin from 2-6 allocations
I just wished they had done the same as they did for the US, pricing and ordering done on the same day, giving customers the piece of mind, where as we gota order in the hopes of all fitting the budget 3 days after the us,

If we are getting so few cars that makes it even more likely they will price it high.
Hate to sound like a pessimist but I'm trying to look at it realistically with budgeting etc.
Maybe they will surprise me and not add too much on the price for us Canadians?
One can always hope.
