Do they have a higher shine than the base wheels closer to a High Polished look or are they darker like the Competetion Gray wheels offered on the vette.

Still want verified "Midnight Silver Metallic" pix. Those pix on the black Iver just don't cut it for me. I'd like to see some clean ones like on the black RS. In fact, those wheels look awesome!

I agree if they naturally look like they are covered in brake dust will be cause for me to drop the RS option. Unless I can get a High Polished wheel option.

I don't think anyone should sell the RS package(WRS) Midnight Silver wheels short. They appear, in the pictures, to look exactly like the Rays Engineering forged wheels on my '06 Grand Touring 350Z. They're not a true silver/metalic(sparkly) color, but a grayish silver that looks like, simply, clearcoated metal, still bright and shiney, but not obviously painted like that typical silver sparkly metalic color on so many stock wheels (lower trims of the 350Z included). Now there's nothing wrong with chrome (Cragar SS) wheels or a bright polished aluminum wheel. These will just look more like actual metal, and not grab so much attention away from the body of the car like a brighter, shiney (Gaudy???) wheel. Oh, don't get me started on spinners!!! Ultimately of course it comes down to personal taste.

rodrunner i agree, "flashy" rims take away from the car, which isnt the focal point when were spending 30k+ on a v8 ss

The black chrome idea is quite nice, and i have heard about this a few times...but dammit if im waiting till this time next year to order i aint waiting another day for rims to get "redone"...but then again whats the wait..oh yea, a 5th gen on blocks hehee

i agree with tag, i want a "verified" pic of the midnight that isnt a side shot

This is the yellow RS from the LV show, being the RS it "should" be the Midnight silver, but who knows. Whatever they may be I love the way these look at this angle.

Ctrain24, you are the one! Don't know how you got those pics, but they are excellent. It's noticeable that the 20" Midnight Silver RS package wheels are a metal look, just not as bright or attention getting as the standard or polished. Should help a lot of buyers.

Here is a macro of the midnight silver finish. You can clearly distinguish the wheel finish from the bright silver finish of the caliper.

Yes. Unless you order the polished wheels.

I may consider this.
I am getting a silver camaro, would black chromed go well with that, or too dark for the color?
