^^^ I could live with a 2K differential! Only problem is that whenever GM of Canada thinks they have a hit on their hands, they crank up the profit margin with no regard to external factors.

Just got back. Canadian dealers will not have prices until November 16th. Anyone who tells you otherwise is full of it. Having said this, they are accepting sales orders.

The sales contract is written up with the car/options you want and no pricing. My dealership (Boulevard Cadillac Chevrolet) is selling at MSRP. Will deal with anyone from Ontario or Quebec. They require $1,000 deposit.

I was confirmed order number 3 after 3 hours.

My dealer does not know when the pricing will come out, but we put my order in ( Plaza Chevrolet in Montreal ). I too have been guaranteed MSRP. The manager at my dealer also believes that the pricing should be in line with what the Mustang & challenger are going for today. I still have the choice of backing out if GM decides to put the price out of my reach. I'm #2 in line !!

im going to the dealeship in an hour and dont know what to make sure is written in a document please help, im also very excited

couldnt sleep last night, i just wish they had pricing out, would be alot easier and way better, i guess we'll all have to hope until november 16th to see if our order fits the budget

Just get them to write out all the options out on the sales order with a stipulation that you can cancel if the pricing is not to your satisfaction. GM has told all dealerships that people are able to back out due to pricing.

The solstice (base model) is 23000 about same as the base camaro in the USA and 28 000 in Canada. It doesnt look good for us.

On the plus side, a V8 G8 starts at 36K up here! SS1 should be close to that price.
