Make the tanning place pay the bill from your dealer to take it out.

Eff that. Tell them you are taking it to a place of your choice and they are gonna pay for it or they can see you in court.

Agree.... dealer only... then the warranty is still covered. I had a problem with a door window in my Silverado but since a body shop did repairs on the door for a dumb deer running into it that they would not cover any warranty items with the door. Could have pushed probably but not a hassle you should have to deal with. Have your dealer do it and bring them the bill.

What's the matter with that tanning salon? Is their precious advertisement too important to put under a windshield wiper like everyone else does?

I hate ads on car in any form. People should not be allowed to even touch other people's cars!

Well, I have to ask.....What gives anyone the right to put anything on a car that they don't own? Do they get permission from the police or do they just do it on their own? What gives them the right to be touching any car that doesn't belong to them? What about a belt buckle scratch when they lean over the car to place it under the wiper? Why is it OK for anyone to place anything on a car????

I think camaro girl crossed the line this time, first her ass hanging out in a tanning bed (actually very nice). But now going car to car with ads, when will it end.

Am I the only one that thinks this can easily be "fixed" by removing the interior door panel? It's not exactly difficult, and can be done from the convenience of your own home. Why would you want to hassle the dealership with something so mundane?

If you read the OP's original post, that is exactly what he's asking.

"If I choose to take the door panel off... is there anyway I can access the inside of the power windows so I can get that piece of paper out? Any help is greatly appreciated."

Don't get me wrong, I am in total agreement with you and I have always hated when people did that to my car as well - be it my old Saturn or my new Camaro. It's not their cars, they should keep their hands off. All I'm saying is, why put it in the window where it could conceivably slip down into the door, rather than under a wiper where it can only slip down to the bottom of the windshield (where it would hopefully blow away)?

Do both, Go to the tanning salon and if they choose to do nothing call the police while you are there .

You should demand Free Tanning for life and then move to Jersey.
