Does the Oil Pressure gauge give the actual pressure or does it work similar to the oil pressure gauge in my Trailblazer (computer-calculated based on RPM)?

The gauge in my Trailblazer is pretty much useless for showing the real pressure.

I installed it yesterday, works great, and it was easy to do. Me and a buddy worked on my car yesterday for 5 hours. We installed the PDIM, 4pack cluster, stearing wheel controls and the heritage grille. We had a blast doing it too.He loved working on a new car and I just enjoyed all of it.

I ordered my cluster pack from Chevypartsplus.com and Cary Laurenson will take care of you on what you need.

I did this mod and it took about 10 minutes to do. The biggest thing or the hardest thing was getting that 12V connector out. I didn't have a special tool to do so and therefore that alone took me about ten minutes to do but after that, piece of cake!
Great addition to the console!

Did the gauge mod on my 1SS yesterday. Totally agree with chozn4service, biggest issues was I didn't have that d4mn tool, and I had to take apart the 12V to get it out . Then I had to figure out how to put it back togther! After that, it was just plug and play. Everything worked just great. So 15 minutes for that connector, 10 minutes for everything else. They look great...much better than that little black tray. All it ever collected was stray pennies and dust.

Harness should come with the guages. If not, you might be able to order it from GMPartsDirect or ChevyPartsPlus (Cary Laurenson) and they may be able to hook you up but the guages come and are sold with their own harness.
