Never have had a problem with classic Camaro owners, nothing but positive comments, The Independent rear suspension has them crawling underneath for a look.....

Hey I'm old and have a classic....and I would not put anyone down for bringing their car.

Granted some I like, some just aren't my "cup of tea", but to each their own. It's about the cars and the passion for....

take it

I took mine to a couple of shows, won "Best in Show" at the first when nobody had seen a 5th Gen yet...but now that they're a modern mass produced car you won't see me entering it in any shows until 1 of 2 things happens.

1) I start making a A LOT of money, and start MASSIVE upgrades, supercharger, suspension upgrades, wheels/tires...I make it a monster.

2) It's 2030...the car is now 20 years old and "classic" so I can start taking it to shows.

The 2nd option is far more likely

+1 Take it!

There are still a lot of people who have only caught a glimpse the 2010 in traffic and they would LOVE to see one up close! Showing it next to a '68 would make a great "then & now" display. I have no doubt that you will be glad you did it!

I have had my car in 2 shows now, I wasn't going for any prizes (didn't get any either) I was going to show my car to the public. There are still a lot of people that haven't really seen the new Camaro up close. So for them this is a great time to check it out and not have an annoying salesman there to pester the person.

I always get a lot of questions about the car and comments on the little details that Chevy put into this car that was put into other past Gen models.

Something that a lot of people seem to like is the 4 gauge cluster, it's not the most useful thing for a daily dirver, but it sure does make the car look great on the inside.

Enjoy your car, giver her a good bath, wax and detail and take it to the show and have fun with all the attention you'll get as people pass by and .. rock on brother!

You need to take the car to any and all shows you can. You do not need to have it judged, if that bothers you. I go to lots of shows and have lots of trophys and have not been looked down on, and my car is swarmed like an ant hill.
People, the bottom line here is we need to be "selling" this car every chance we get! The more that get sold, the less likely it will be that we get our Camaro taken away from us again by slumping sales.
