When I bought mine the salesman asked me if I wanted it on, and of course I said no. That was in February, and I haven't been stopped yet.

Maybe a silly question, but why don't you just buy it locally? End of problem.

He is getting a new car that has the bracket installed. He is buying the car from a 2 plate state, so it's not the fault of the dealer for putting it on.

MN is a 2 plate state and mine was in the trunk. had to make a special trip back to the dealer for them to put it on.

Ditto!!! However, I did find a license plate frame on ebay that CLIPS onto the bottom grill, costs about $90. I haven't bought one yet, when I get pulled over I will, but until then--no front plate.........

Would we be allowed to put the plate behind the windshield? When I was at the dealership, I saw someone in a Camaro with the plate taped to the inside of the windshield.

You could try to plug the holes. The optimal thing would be a new bumper but...that probably wont happen. Or...you can try to find the same car elsewhere...OR...order a 2011.

I agree with everyone that's recommended not buying it. I live in Louisiana as well and I quite enjoy the privilege of not having to have a front plate. There's tons of Camaros around here. I suggest you find one locally and buy it there. I know for sure All Star Chevy and Gerry Lane Chevy in Baton Rouge have Camaros, and Trapp Chevrolet in Houma has them as well.
