Bugs that are toxic to your paint. Screw. That.
they're only toxic to the lazy people that leave them on for extended periods of time. clean them off daily and you probably won't have any issues.

I drive through cattle country often and the bugs are thick unless its windy. last year I had a swarm of mosquitos full of blood on the front, it looked like custom paint from 30 feet... no bugs at Tahoe but in the valleys WOW! I have a screen I clip in front of the radiator to keep it clean, other than that, wash rinse repeat.

I had to make a night time run last weekend and I went through a spot on an expressway that completely covered my car with mosquitos.

I paid dearly for it the next day when it literally took me like an hour to clean the front end of my car. I can't imagine what kind of damage stuff like this would do to unprotected cars. mine has the clearshield so I'm pretty well protected.

Funiture polish or a spray detailer works good. You still have to wash and re-apply often.

those damn things dry as quick as they splat on hot days at 50 mph. went to daytona today with both cars and faired well, minimal bugs. they get in the condensor as well and jam all up in there. came through ft myers in a rental the other day and was thanking god i was in the rental. it turned black with lovebugs and they were all up in everything.

When I got home I sprayed the bumper with Waterless Wash and went to bed. In the morning I sprayed the nose with waterless wash again and then thought of taking a couple pics to show how well this combination of Quick Sealant and Waterless Wash works to remove bugs.

This is the pic with the bugs after being sprayed with waterless wash:

This pic was a few minutes later, with just using the firehose nozzle (a couple bugs needed a little agitation to fully wash off):

And remember, this Quick Sealant was applied 3 weeks prior and was sitting in the hot Florida sun for those three weeks.

Very great combination, Quick Sealant and Waterless Wash as a bug pretreat.

I've always made sure it was waxed really good to help the bugs not stick...but I'm going to order some of this and try it....Looks like it works even better !

Thankfully I don't drive a lot at night so they never get really bad, but I'd sure like to try this !

Thanks for the heads up !

about a month ago when I pull the 2010 out of the garage for the first time (I had put her away cleaned, clayed and polished, but didn't get my protection laid down) I put a coat of Pinnicle sealant and Butter wax on the front. I've since kept it cleaned and the bugs are still sliding right off. Keeping that protection on there really works well!

Wash all the bugs off using Bounce dryer sheets, your regular wash, and more wax, in that order.
