nice!...although i believe they have the numbers wrong for the gt500....it is a happy day for more ride,i have had my maro one year today,does'nt seem like it,still an awesome ride,412hp/408trq.,to da ground,i may do a little more engine mod down the road,hav'nt quite decided yet...i will be 49 yrs.old the 29th of this month and it shows in the mornings when i get up,ha.but i have always been a camaro guy,

I don't think anything beats the Camaro SS in hp/$.
The 2011 Mustang GT is the only thing that would be close.

I think they were smoking something when they wrote the article. As much as it pains me to admit, the 2011 Shelby is rated at 550 hp. See below. I'll take my SS and the $18k price difference.

I respect this sources info and believe what they say to be true
 - I mean they got the Camaro's numbers right, they must have also gotten the Mustang's also, right?

Even if they got the numbers wrong when you look at all the other cars on the list most are 5k-10k more but the Camaro SS still has the faster 0-60 time I say hey more bang for the buck and looks well nothing exept my 68 camaro looks as good

They must be referring to the Ford GT500 Hybrid version :-)
I also noticed in the text of the article they refer to the 335's zero to 60 as 5.6s while in the list on the bottom of the page, they put 5.1s as a zero to 60. Yeah Forbes should stick to Financial News. |

Actually these were my prices
2011 Mustang GT 5.0 - 34,821 2010 Camaro 2SS - 36,347 Not that big of a deal but to clear things up on average a Mustang is cheaper. |

The article basically says that as the second fastest and cheapest that we got our money's worth with an SS.
 Cudos to Ford and Dodge as well.  I'm surprised the base GT and Charger were not on the list. They should have been. |

ok there seems to be alot of people that aren't understanding how bad they messed up all the mustang number. The Shelby is 550 hp 505tq and even if they were using 2010 GT numbers its 315hp 325tq. So again they butchered the mustang numbers all around. There has and isnt no V-8 mustang ever rated 305hp and 208tq. This article loses all points it tries to make when they can't even proof read their article before publishing it. Freakin dummies
