I need some advice on the color selection here.

I don't like the red because with that fast of a car, every cop is going to know what kind of car it is and is going to be watching you, and another reason because it's RED. Red is like a cop magnet. I am going with either the dark blue or the inferno orange.

Negative ghostrider...red is not a cop magnet. LOUD exhausts opening WIDE up are cop magnets!!! If your exhaust is loud, realize that every time you step on the gas, everyone is going to look...natural reaction. Red does not catch my eye more than another car of a different color. Just my .02cents....someone else might think differently.

loud pipes are gonna get you in alot more trouble then a paint job

Thats why you should buy a set of the noweeds diverter system. i am definitely looking into this for those times when you want to go loud and fast or fast and stealthy..

Not so easy. If i wanted to do blue i would need to get it custom painted that would cost about $10,000. But if i need to go that rought then i will.

It has been a proven fact that the color of your car has absolutely no effect on how much the cops look at you, this is a myth, so if thats your only reason your not getting red then i suggest that you rethink your options because red looks sooo good.

Yellow. To me in looks good in the sun and shade. Did not think about it looking clean. Does it really?

Had a Black Grand Prix GTP and pain to keep clean, that is why I chose not to do the black stripes on it.

Yellow is my first color on a 5th gen but want to see if GM will allow blues on the SS. No black for me, my wifes 99 GTP shows too many marks.

Hey same year as the one I had. Do you have problems with the windows falling down? I had to replace all 4 window units over the 6 years I had the car.

as others have posted, i ordered a 1ss/rs with cyber gray, seeing the corvette on the showroom floor in cyber gray helped my desicion.. one that i definatly can live with.. absolutely gorgeous color.

I have own (2) 1969 Camaro's and one was blue and one was black. I got pulled over every week in the black one for about a month. I had to go and talk to the judge who lived up the street from me and after that I didn't get pulled over anymore. The ticket that put me over the top was when I got a ticket for no inspection sticker at 3am on a dark street. They knew when it was going to be out and targeted me. The others I got: Speeding, Inproper takeoff, weaving in and out of traffic were all my fault. The inspection deal I guess was my fault also but I thought it was kind of "red" of them to give me a ticket for that in the middle of the night.

I'm either going with orange with black rally stripes(Bengal fan) or silver with black rally stripes (stays/looks clean) and plan on getting a 2LT RS

My son is a car painter. I oredred Cyber grey last night but have never seen it. He took the code to work today and is going to paint me a panel. lol I'll let you know how it turns out.
