Ok...I see. I will get the polished also and will most likely buy some larger aftermarket wheels eventually.

I want to know how much it will be to get the polished wheels with the rs package. Your arnt upgrading to a bigger wheel just polished instead if the painted.

I just got off the phone with my dealer and he said "he doesn't see this an option" in their on-line ordering system.

What's the true story???

Fbodfather posted and said it will take a while to get the order tables updated to accept the changes at the dealerships. It should be available sometime soon..

Polished wheels are an additional $470 added to the RS package price.

I thought that was to upgrade them from the 19's to the 20 polished.

I figured sence were already getting 20's painted with the RS it wouldn't be that much more to swap them for 20's polished

Any idea how much powder coating these painted wheels might run?

Wouldn't going from 18" to 20" make the speed of that you are actually going look slower by a few miles per hr? I'm not sure if it would be that much but I helped deliver a monster truck with tires/wheels so high you needed to get in the thing with steps on the side and we actualy looked down inside semi's when we went by. It also road like a log wagon and almost shook the inside of my guts delivering it on a 4-5 hr drive.

I would assume the overall diameter of the wheel and tire combos will be roughly the same. Smaller diameter wheels will have taller tires. This should keep the speedo accurate.

Used to be the case.

I agree that the wheel and tire combos will all be close to the same diameter. But even if they weren't, there is no longer a need to change the gear out in the tranny to correct the speedo. Now all they have to do is program the tire size, and the onboard does the rest.
