Sounds good, we'll have to get together.

Since your so far on the north side and the SA track is on the south side, you may try the strip up by Temple. It's probably a lot more convenient for you although I've never been so I can't speak as to the experience. http://www.littleriverdragway.net/index.html

Sad to see that Austin does not have a local dragstrip, I assume San Antonio is the closest?
Anything I should watch out for in the Austin area?
Welcome, lots of cars in the NW Austin area. Check out the monthly cars and coffee meet for sure....

http://austin.carsandcoffee.info/

Every Saturday there is an informal meetup in the WEST corner of the Target Shopping complex at the intersection of 1431 and 183Toll Road (behind Chick-Filet).

Also, the SRT8 Mopar team does quite a few events, including track rentals. Love to see the Jeep or other cars out there, more than just Mopars show up for most of the events....

I'll see you around A-town.

Only thing you have to watch out for is the crazy starbucks yuppies in their BMW's.

Closest dragstrip is Little River up by Temple.
