Nice story... but the problem is, mustang owners wont stop and they always seek to get humiliated again and again and again and again.... my LT/RS does a good job on stangs!

Not around here, I'm still waiting for them to catch up, than it's game-on.

Time to trade in your 06 modded out Stang.

Base V6's are now making as much power as your V-8 did new.

Still waiting to see what the Z28 or the GT500 will have available for 2012

*PARODY OF ORIGINAL STORY*

V6 vs. V6

You have settled into the seat of your new 2011 v6 Stang. A flick of the wrist and the motor springs to life. The 3:00 AM moon watches, and you become paranoid ("Why is the moon watching me?").

You hear a guy revving his engine and realize that you are not alone. You check the mirrors, but see nothing. Then from behind, you see the Red ring of death!

Oops. You forgot you take out that old battery powered X-box from the back seat!

But wait, you see something else. It's a v6 Camaro.

You down shift and try to accelerate away. But in your heart, you know there is no escape. That's because two of your overweight friends are in the car with you, and you realize the Stang's weight advantage is now gone.

The light ahead turns red and you know the inevitable is about to occur. You try to kick your Big Mac eating buddies out of your car, but they won't go.

The LS scans its prey, taking note of it's weight problem. Knowing this will be a close race, the LS fender eases up along side of you.

You hear the firing of the mighty LLT. You look at the driver to see that he is without any passengers. Ouch.

A grin comes over his face. No mercy, not this time.

The light turns green, you crush the pedal to the floor as you try to make up for the excess baggage that you are carrying. The rear tires scream in agony "We're not rated for this much load!"

You pull second gear but the Maro hangs with you. You think "Dang, my friends need to get to the gym!" It's a dead heat. The Camaro is by your side, laughing at the newly reworked (but still stale design) of your Stang.

You slowly shift into third (because empty McDonald's bags are in the way of your shift pattern). You watch as the Camaro hangs with you. It had been quick and unyielding, and most importantly ... not carrying a load of fast-food junkies!

The garage door opens as the Mustang returns to its stall. Your friends complain "But we still haven't gone to Taco Bell's yet?"

You ignore their rants, and slowly close the door on them and climb to your bed. In the distance, you still hear the muffled sounds of "We Want Food!"

As you pull the covers over your head, you know there is a solo Camaro driver out there who is happy that he left his friends home that night.

Yeah.

Camaro ... Why Mustangs fear the fat.

Apparently, volumetric efficiency in a modern engine is a foreign concept to you.

Not to worry though, you're forgiven.
