The '68 is so close to done it's killing me . I'll post some pics , maybe tomorrow .
It's got a 5 link rear suspension , aluminum 4.11 Ford 9" , coilovers all around , C5 Z06 brake system w/ hydroboost , 6 speed , I could go on and on .
The engine is what thrills me though . It's a 90's 500 inch Pro Stock style marine big block with Kinsler stack Efi manifold , Big Chief titanium valved heads , Jesels , Carrillo rods and again I could go on and on just on the engine .
The car ran real well with a mild 427 so with this engine it sould really go .
For those of you not familiar with those old stack Efi set ups , just let me say NOTHING sounds like one and they make great torque . Most of the manifolds on new cars actually mimic these manifolds however the tubes are curved ( left to right typically ) to clear hoods . The visual impact is amazing .
I need to get this one done .

That's a great way to go . With the gears I think a cam and higher revs go together .
I'm going to run it a while but am probably going to cam it a little bigger soon . Oh , and don't forget the short shift and eventually a better clutch .
I just ordered an Eibach suspension kit also . Drove a friends ZL575 and the suspension was that much better , although it's performance was a little dissapointing . I am positive my car with no blower would take it in the 1/4 . Top end he'd probably win but who cares street races are usually done by 70 or 80 mph .
