btw - How are you going to attach them? I'm thinking of putting one similar to yours on the in front of the hood on the drivers side, like this:

They are meant to drill holes in the fender and mount them that way, but of course I'm not going to do that. So I'm going to sawzall and smooth out the posts in the back and stick them on.

Dude: you are not alone in the classic emblem department, it's just that I am doing mine the opposite way that you did yours.......I am getting the emblems first so that will motivate me more to save up the money and get through the waiting period for the convertable to come out.
I think it adds a classy touch to the new Camaro, I will be putting all the emblems that came on the 68 and they will be put as close as possible to similar locations that were on the 68, I will even put one of the dash emblems on as well. One of the main reasons I am doing this is becasue about two months ago I sold my 68 and I want to have something to remember it by and pay it some tribute. Ya I know I shouldn't have gotten rid of the 68 but there was no room for two Camaros and the new one just grew on me, and besides at my age of 45 I am DONE tinkering and working on cars, I just want to drive them and enjoy them.

Again, I'm sure its an age thing having grown up with the cars of the 50's, 60's.

not of your age but... +1

Thanks all, I know it's not popular with some, but I feel it's tastefully unique. The car was made to be retro, and I think it's pretty cool to mix old and new in this case!

It all depends. Some cars it works, somethings it doesn't. I typically dont like them but I've seen some that just make the car pop. Usually on white Camaros the old emblems seem to look good.
