Yea unfortunately you have to display the card on demand on the first approach so he really wasn't hosing you.... on top of that giving the $10 break is pretty nice in FL.

I had a 91 in a 55 wayy back, paid $600 + $55 court charge, then the DMV fines you an additional $300 for having points on your license.

Well then.....I can do nothing but pray for you. People in FL b--ch about a $50 fix it ticket with no points. Isn't Virginia the state that slaps $1000 fines on their residents for 20+

Hah, I had the same thing happen to me. Noticed 2 cops on the opposite lane, but I guess it was too late doing 53 on a 35. They uturned and followed me, so here I have 2 cops chasing me... I pull over - both guys come up and the first thing he says is beautiful ride man. Continued to ask me questions about the car - turns out he was about to retire and wanted one for himself. Got off with a warning. I was a happy panda.

I recently got a ticket for 36 in a 25 (half a block past where the limit changed and I was slowing), saw the judge and got six months probation and $48.00 fine. No points.

Jeezz guys.....i cant believe how many of you have been let off or got ur ticket reduced lol, yall must live in small towns where the cop probably has never seen a camaro and just pulled you over to admire the car. I wish cops in bigger cities weren't such a-holes. I havent been pulled over yet (in the camaro at least) but did get the satisfaction of peeling out beside a cruiser as i entered the on ramp of a highways as he went a different direction.

DUDES----- while visiting in Fl. got pulled over on IH 75 doing 95 in a 70--

I had just punch it while I was cruising at 75mph to get this guy that was riding
my ass disappear when the law came over the hill ( coming towards me ) and caught
me--

His lights came on and I knew I had just got FRIED---

I pulled over with my hazard lights on and waited about 3-4 minutes ( seem like a long
time ) when he drove up behind me and came to my side of the car and said " you know
better than that "-- I said - yes sir - Then he said " At least I didn't have to chase
you " "You got a nice ride " I said Thank you -- thinking i'm gonna get out of this--
"NOT"

He took my drivers lic /Ins and came back and said I'm going to give a ticket doing
85 in a 70 I'll save you some $$$ but SLOW IT DOWN -- I said THANK YOU --

Cost me $260.82 --

I now have a Valentine One Radar and haven't had a ticket since----

Cop saw me come around this turn pretty fast, then I went around another curve out of his sight. He tried to say I was doing 60mph in the 45mph zone. I drive that road all the time and admit I came around the turn fast, but then cruised till he caught up to me from the light he was at. He let me off with a warning.

Day 1, morning after I got my Camaro I got stopped for 80 in a 55 and got let go with a verbal "try to keep it around 65". HAAAAA!!!

Indiana State Police are OK in my book.

I live in Atlanta, Ga.. Doesnt get too much bigger than that. lol

Got pulled over in dooly county in ga for 91 in a 70 at the same time as another camaro $361 plus $200 for the super speeder law kinda crazy if you ask me. Oh well thats part of speeding just can't believe its that much for a speeding ticket.

I got caught on I-87 in Champlain NY just before crossing the CDN border(500 FT) doing 70 in a 55. First speeding ticket in more than 15 years or so... No luck for me....I have to sign it and mail it in and then I get the Fine by mail.
Do you think if I went to court it would be better off

If its the same there as in Georgia then no. I was told I could go to court but to get the speed lowered they would raise my fine plus have to pay court costs and the fee for the attorney. So it ends up being cheaper and I will take a class to have the points removed.
