Anyone know if the Borla Atak has drone at low RPMS? 1-2k range. I've been pancaking between ATAK and Corsa. Both with LT's High flow cats

I have the Dynatech LT's with the Corsa LS3 exhaust on my L99 and sounds awesome.

You can take that to the bank!
I know, I ripped out a GMPP droney exhaust before I installed the Corsa.
Whoever validated the GMPP exhaust for GM should have been fired.
Corsa is well worth the extra cash.

That's why I went Corsa. I didn't want to take that chance. Videos on you tube do not do the Corsa justice. It sounds so sweet. I have a Mach X also that sounds great. The Corsa is a little higher pitch that I prefer.

What's the difference in going with the LS3 vs L99 on a L99 car?

I screwed up guys. I talked to a few guys that recommended the Edelbrok X-pipe and a SLP LoudmouthII axle back exhaust. Got it installed last week. At idle it sounds deep and smooth, when you get on it it also sounds VERY good. At cruise RPMs, it about drones you out of the car and when the AFT kicks in and out it sounds like your driving a lawn mower one second and then a +400 HP V-8 the next and when the system goes in and out its about enough to drive you crazy!!!

I have a Corsas Catback ordered and should be here mid week.

I do have a question though. I want a tuner that will allow me to adjust the shift rpm points as well as adjust the AFT by specific gear. Will the Diablo Sport Predator allow me to do this. They do not list these features on the 2010 model on the web site unless I am reading something wrong.

I like the idea of an extra 30 HP and 30 Ft/lbs torque although its not the main reason for getting the tuner, just want to be able to adjust that AFT and possibly modify some RPM settings.

Tell me what to get for this purpose. I have an L99 by the way, bone stock other then the exhaust upgrade and I may add a CAI down the road as well.

CAI + CORSA is just magic. No drone what so ever the best part of having the corsa on my LS3 is when I let off the gas, that poping sound is great.

X-pipe on the L99 verson comes w/ a small resonator... Helps even more w/ AFM noise... I prefer this version.

Diablo does not support AFM tuning YET!... They say it's on the way but have given no projected dates. With the Predator you will be able to turn AFM (DOD) on and off, but no other transmission parameters are supported. For now go w/ SCT. Either one you can get from Jannetty Racing and he can provide you custom tunes for when you add headers and other mods...

No way you're going to get 30hp out of a tune... probably get about half that but your car will run much better.

I just installed Corsa and drove around but when I got on her she popped like an AK47. Is this normal and will go away once broken in? Or is this they way the Corsa sounds because I can't say I ever heard this in any of the videos.

Jack Olsen The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same. Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different. I can't wait for my next Track fix.
