I think in a few years the pace car thing would wear off. I'd much rather have a clean looking camaro. Just my opinion, I don't like the stickers..

Thanks
Is it a V6? RS? Sunroof? What does it have? Can't tell you if it's a good deal unless we have some car specs.

I had a close look at the Indy Camaro (they have one at Carter GM where I bought my Yellow SS/RS) and it just doesn't look good (to me at least). The fender badge is big and ugly. Plus, I honestly don't think there will be much added resell value for this "special edition" car.

But, if you like the car and the extra decals, then certainly get it if it's below MSRP.

I guess you're in AB since you didn't list PST.

I like the package except I think the door stickers would get "old" fast. If you could take delivery w/out the large decals applied and instead have those put on a magnetic sign. Then you could show the car as a pace car but not have to drive it daily like that.

Yes sorry I'm in AB so 5% GST needs to be added to that price.

Also, it's the full spec 2SS so it has the 6.2 V8, Manual 6 speed Tremec, it has all the options other than the sunroof, two tone leather, colour coded interior, etc.

Is it worth it for this money? I have no idea what a regular 2SS with all the options would cost to compare?

Thanks again for the help

10K more for 2 sickers, headrest and badges. I would buy an SS and use the 10K for mods.

If i were in your positin I would go for it! I would also recommend leaving the decals on it. They will pay for themselves when and if you ever decide to sell.

trust me I know, my 98 SS Brickyard car was worth more when I sold it, because they were all still on the car. It was definitely a help when I decided to sell my baby so I could afford the new Camaro.

I just saw a PACE CAR in Ramona, Ca this morning as the wife and I were taking our early morning drive in our Camaro. The door stickers were removed. I know this defeats the purpose of having the "Pace Car" but man did it look S W E E T !! Just IOM and the Indy 500 badging on the fenders, No door stickers. Looked HOT!

If it is a 6 Speed car I would jump on it as fast as you can. If you do not like the car, put it on ebay and sell it. You will do very well with it. There were a very few 6 speeds made and only for Canada. From what I am told, 200 were US Automatic Dealer "Replica" Cars. 50 auto's were "Festival" cars used by the Speedway, and only 45 Pace Cars to Canada with only 4 of those being the 6 Speed. If you do not want to drive around with the Door Decals, order a spare set, and keep them in the trunk. That way you have them if you ever decide to sell. The Six Speed is the only thing I would change about mine. If we could get them here, that is what I would have.
