I have to say that GM 2008 is not the same GM of 1980. In regards to bugs: I have one of the first GMT-900 Tahoes that was available and it has been a stunning and wonderful purchase. Not a single mechanical issue, no recalls of any importance (remap fuel system computer for E-85) and it has been in service since I bought it. 39,000 miles now, and not a rattle or issue worth mentioning. Our Enclave is even better.

I say all this to all of you: "Bugs" do not exist at nearly the same rate as they did 25 years ago in GM's new cars.
