...2010 Camaro v6 = 304HP.
..2011 Camaro v6 should be = 312HP.

the auto and manual horsepower difference is only in the SS trims but thats because of different engines not because of the transmissions. all V6's have the same engine

I agree..
...the LLT of 304hp, they all seem to think that the 2010 LLT Engine has 312hp.

I agree that if nothing was changed physically, then our '10's are 312hp. Chevy said themselves all they did was certify the LLT. You might as well forget about 304hp. If someone asks me, you better believe I'm saying 312.

It does make 312 hp. GM didn't get the 2010's officially tested, but the identical 2011's make 312 hp. GM didn't even change a single electron in the computer. The 304 hp rating was a carry over from the CTS, which has the same engine but a different intake/exhaust system. GM knew that the Camaro would flow better but didn't see the need to spend money certifing the V6. They were going bankrupt at the time and it already made over 50 hp more than the next closest pony car V6. Now they're making money, and Ford tried to 1 up them so they had both the means and a reason to actually rate the V6.

Talked to a few dealers/salesmen saying basically the same thing. In print and all, it says 304, but 312ish is more the correct number.

Real simple we were told at the Camarofest in Febuary that all V6 Camaros had been certified at 312Hp. That came straight from the Camaro team.
