I had the KDW2s on my GTO. I was happy with them, but they're loud. Great in the wet though. Tread pattern disperses water fairly well. On the Camaro, I'd go with a Nitto Invo, a PS2, or something of the sort. Tires matter.

Not many cars use this size right now, but once Camaro sales numbers start, many different options are going to be available. I have to say though the question "what is a good street tire" means different things to different people. Some are willing to give up wet traction to get more dry grip. Some are willing to give up mileage to get more grip. By the time any Camaro owner needs replacement tires, (at least in stock sizes) finding something to fit your wants/needs whatever they are should not be a problem at all.

Those are what I'm getting!! I've read great reviews (VERY sticky) and they're relatively inexpensive. I've found 245/45/20'S for about $160.00 and 315/35/20's (I'm going to widen my rears) for about $270.00. PLUS they look GREAT!

So does anyone have any input for a great year round tire? Or maybe a winter tire? It doesn't get too cold in Texas but still below freezing.

The problem for us North Easterners is there are no good All Season tires for this car. Its an odd size Chevy came up with. Good Year has nothing. My 2002 Camaro had Good Year as most chevys have had over the years. They were great on dry, wet and warm and good in the cold and snow. These Pirellis are not only useless in the snow, but every degree below 45 degrees makes the tires get worse.

I drove My 2002 Z28 in the snow with all season Good Years and it was fine. Summer only tires, especially Pirellis are completely useless even on an AWD car.
