I had a very strong feeling that's how the exhaust would sit in the diffuser bumper...what a shame.

IMHO...I think those squares are hideous. If they were round...I order the ground effects kit. I'm not buying it because of how silly those trapezoids look. Exhaust pipes are supposed to be round.

well i didn't say it would be something anyone could do. 'custom' takes a little skill and equipment to do it right :-) it's not all bolting on stuff like on Unique Whips... ever watch Street Customs, they can so some crazy stuff

I dont like it either how they don't match up exactly, but thats the best they can do from factory without running up the price.
At least it isn't as bad as the Lexus IS-F

You don't want to hard mount the tailpipe to anything except its stock rubber mount. Exhaust has to expand, contract and vibrate. If you hard mount it to the diffuser and diffuser is hard mounted to the ground effects panel you're gonna have problems. Lotsa problems.

Good point - it doesn't have to be mounted, so long as the square exhaust tip mods line up with the diffuser when the cars parked. Won't matter when the car's moving cause no one will know the difference. Just when the cars parked, and people are "studying" the car, there needs to be some aftermarket piece to hide that slop
