I am leaning heavy towards a white SS and have to wait, so I may wait until the 2011 Camaro can be ordered for this reason^^^^. Still hope we can use RPO UE0 to delete Onstar, I just dont want the equipment.

My 4th gen probably got 5K miles in the last 4 years, no time and weather. I moved to AZ so my 5th gen can be driven year round, but it wont be a daily driver.

I went in today to fine tune my order and tried hard to get them to remove ONSTAR and the fin but its not happening guys. They wont do it. Also they said if you removed it, there will be a hole in the roof.

So, when I get it, the fin will be colour matched OR I may remove it, fill in the hole and respray. Not sure until I actually see it in the flesh what the fin looks like.

I think the dealer tells people no when they dont know for sure, but I'm sure it will take some time for ALL the RPO codes to surface when ordering. Why could you delete it from the Aveo,Cobalt,Impala and GM trucks and not the Camaro? Its a delete option on the cheapest Chevy but not the newest?

I really dont want the fin and have time to wait and see if it will be removed in the next model year. I would be kicking myself if I order a 10 SS and next year the fin is gone.

For those wondering what the hole for the antenna looks like, I took this pic of the GS concept at sema. Its about 1 in by 1 in.

I dont hate it, I just have no use for it and if I remove it there will be a hole in the roof.
well actually if you buy a brand new camaro you will have onstar standard for a year and you can get a free 3 month trial to xm i think

The short antenna looks better than the fin IMO, the fin is just too BMW for my taste.

Just being a smartass here. That's not a picture of a hole. That's a picture of an antenna in a hole. no hole visible.

Same here, I dont want the Onstar/XM equipment or the fin, wish GM would focus on the Camaro instead of the other services/equipment they want to push on the consumer.

We should have the option to pick or delete this equipment, not everyone wants all the gadgets and BMW antenna on the roof.

Look about 6 inches behind the "racing" antenna, that white square is the onstar/xm antenna hole. Its easy to overlook, kind of looks like the lights reflection.

I did think that was a reflection, good eyes BitchinCamaro. If the SEMA GS Camaro was custom painted I wonder why they didnt fill the roof holes? Now it looks like we will have two holes in the roof.

I hope we can get a smooth clean roof from the factory, I dont want to weld holes shut on my new Camaro.
