as for drone- the only place that really gets me is holding at 60 in 6th. holding between 75-80 in 6th is absolutely perfect- it calms down for music conversation etc...

i see you're from gwinnett as well.... im in lower gwinnett right at the dekalb border. i got headers with my atak (non gfx) with a cam being isntalled/tuned as we speak. you should bring your camaro out to some of the gwinnett weekly meets (riverside dr on thursday, pleasant hill rd at hhgregg on saturday nights)

Just ordered my ATAK axle-back today thanks to all the great input from everyone on the forum. Finally ends 3 months of back and forth debate on what to get. Can't wait to get it on the car and hear it.

you guys with the atak axleback and x pipes, are you using the tru x or resonated x pipes? and also do you delete the resonators?

the ATAK includes an X-pipe. don't know if there are varying qualities of X-pipe.

if your just getting the axleback and changing the h-pipe out with a xpipe, im trying to figure out if people recomend the trux or resonated xpipe, it would only make since to get the non resonated one but i dont want to order it and find out i was wrong

How deep is the bass on the ATAK?

I'm looking for an axle back with a good deep bass sound like the traditional muscle car.

I'm new to the forum and recently purchase a 5th gen camaro 2SS/RS LS3 M6. The day I bought the car I knew I wanted a more aggressive sounding exhaust. after reading this and several other threads I just made up my mind and purchased a Borla ATAK system, it will be here tomorrow gonna have it installed Thursday. Just hoping that its not so loud that its annoying.
