I added Red Ambient Lighting this evening with Skuttducks help. I find the red is a nice contrast to the blue ice light. It's like the red in the gauges:

I still have some tweaking to do, but I like it.

The parts list I got from Skuttduk is:

Fist the digikey light tube.
Part A99861-ND from www.digikey.com
Unfortunatetly this is discontinued but maybe you can find another source .

Next get at least 2 GM lamps. I bought 5.
Part: 92238395, they run 11 - 18 dollars.

Now if you want to make the custom wire harnesses you will need this from mouser electronics.

You will need this:

you may not need the wire connectors. I did that for my car and Erick's car. We have the factory ambient light plug.

On newer cars I use the quick connect wires to attach to the ambient wire circuit in the kick panel.

DUUUDE!

the red dash looks awesome!

i would probably do the doors also red! that would better fit the theme to my car!

iv looked at the DIY threads on them but sanding the dash so the light comes thru scares me. plus im not good with electrical so im kinda at a stand still.

Yeah, I think if you have a theme, you gotta go with it. AMPM1678 lets see those yellow lights.
