I have a similar set myself (a 2010 CAMARO and a 1995 FIREBIRD) both of then in red (Victory Red for the CAMARO and I think the Firebird color was called Patriot Red back then) and have some pics of these on my GARAGE/ALBUM in this forum.

I can tell you've got the WS6 package on the 'BIRD : seems to be a 2001 or 2002 model.

However I own two CBR's (F2 & F4) while I saw you have got an R1.

Well nobody is perfect, so you are forgiven for riding a YAMAHA (lol)

Now seriously, I wonder if you own any other vehicles and if you face the same issues I have trying to devote time to enjoy, maintain and safeguard each one of these amazing vehicles.

Perhaps one of these toys is driven by the lady in your life??? If so which one??

Send me a PM when you have the time. Perhaps we can share experiences/grievances/solutions etc.

Very nice looking Onkel Matze.

I just wonder which type of finish will take best the abuse of driving (pebbles, dirt & grime, oil and other debris, etc.) in public roads.

Was this the reason you opetd for powder coating, or was it mostly for the look??

I had painted wheels on my old 98 Camaro, they looked good for about a year, but after a while I started to see a lot of small chips in mine, but I did DD it down in Louisiana.
