Don't you love the threads that start out like that? You know what keeps me opening these threads is someone talking about seeing a Z28, or seeing that white hockey striped Camaro from the mountrains. It's like the white stag or Moby Dick.

Capt. Ahab looks at you all scroogish and says, "have you seen a white Camaro?"

Ya, like I thought he was going to say he saw a dead Mustang on the side of the road.

c'mon y'all -- I nearly got run over twice for pausing long enough to take a pic of a black nissan gtr driving by me with my BlackBerry -- step up!

(oh, and be careful!)

I wont post the GTR pic because:
1) it ain't a Camaro
2) wasn't that great of a pic.

But -- I TOOK THE DANG THING!!!!

Gotta be ready! We (almost) all carry devices that can take a photo now, right!?!?

To the OP - -thanks for posting, and helping our imaginations run wild!

after not only detailing for a gm dealer, but having had both a black and a tan vehicles. black shows far more dirt, scratches, water spots, & the like. i could go forever without washing my tan explorer & not really tell much of a difference. the black excursion, however, looks dirty within a few days of cleaning it. just my experience anyway

I'm in downtown Toronto too. My husband works in Oshawa. I use this site to keep up on the Camaro-I just don't post much, but appreciate everyone's information--you guys are really informed :-)

I was referring to the top.

I detail cars on the side as well, and I also own a black Camaro, so I'm well aware of the work, etc., associated with the color black.

EDIT: if and when they start getting shipped southward (maybe not the pilots)...I should catch a glimpse of them down the highway...hopefully. I'll start keeping my Camera in my car. I mean, I'm seeing trucks of Challengers nearly every day...
Dito. I see 2-3 Challenger/300/Charger trucks every day and I also drive by Ford's crossover plant in Oakville. Heading home, I rarely see any trucks and its going to be a dark drive for the next few months. But I keep a camera on my passenger seat just in case I see a Camaro truck.
