Thanks, so it was the long tubes that tripped the CEL? I just ordered my Injen intake and am going to be saving for a full exhaust, I want the BBK LT's but I want to make sure I know what all will be involved with tuning and such. Thanks for your reply

no problem. and yes, it was the long tubes and high flow cats that come with BBK that caused the cel.

Sounds good, I just noticed you're from Vegas, I'm moving to San Diego in a few weeks and there are many weekend trips to Vegas in my future...it's pretty much my favorite place on earth

I just had O2 extensions installed today. (and I didn't have to pay for them!) hoping they will keep the CEL off.

Btw it is kind of misleading to say that all headers make the tone lower. I noticed that mine is actually a little higher pitched when it is revving hard. Think about it this way you now have more air rapidly moving through the system which results in a slightly higher tone. However you are absolutely right when the car is idling or for regular driving.

I don't remember what i rev'd to on the side view. I think it was 3k then 4. On the video showing the full back of the car i went 3k/4k/3k. I'll try and get another one with less wind. And a drive by.

Ok, so right after I purchased the SOLO extenders, I decided to reset the cel by disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes or so. This was friday that I did this. I drove around with the cel for about 1500 miles before this, btw. Anyway, it's now tuesday, and the cel has still not turned back on. lol I drive her daily, so I'm wondering if maybe the computer just learned to "live" with the high flow cats. I doubt it, but I was expecting the cel to reappear already.

the last two times the cel turned on, it only took a couple hundred miles, if that.
