One more thing, the Drag Week Finals will occur right after our event. There are some sick, sick cars running this year. You might want to plan on hanging out to see those fast cars do work.

No worries, wish you could have made it though. We had 43 cars run, not too bad but definitely would liked to have seen more Camaros. Thanks SS Dan for coming out!

Lance, thank you for posting here so I'd know about it. Also, I appreciated your interest and advice yesterday as this "rookie" took the field. I was a little worried after the first two runs ( ugly for sure !). But I left happy and glad I did it as the third run of 13.6 and 108 mph was very satisfying for a guy who had never drag raced before. I can see now how people get the bug for more speed! I had a blast meeting you and your fellow GTO crew !! Everyone was very nice and accepting to the lone Camaro hanging out with the Pontiac crowd.
Oh, I forgot to add I was pleasantly surprised to see my car in your photo album. That was a nice bonus today. |
