Use gasoline, I've used it on many cars and my Hayabusa to remove the decals and emblems, never harmed the paint and I washed the area right away.

No it won't. Look at their site. It is 100% guaranteed and backed by the company not to harm the clear or paint.

Can I use Goo Gone on my car or motorcycle to remove sap, tar, sticker adhesive and dried latex?

Traditional and Automotive Goo Gone formulas are safe to use on your car’s exterior.

I have always used plain old bug and tar remover, available almost everywhere and it's cheap... never had a problem with paint or clear damage... but do as it says and wash and wax the area after using it,
