Does look good. More sinister...
On my 1982 charcoal gray Berlinetta, the headlight openings, grille area, and parking light openingis were all painted black from the factory. My white '93 Camaro looked like it had black vinyl in the headlight pods. Regardless, it's a good look on the 5th gens.

I think the black paint should have been included as part of the RS package.

My 68 was blacked out between the tail lights and I always liked it. I didn't know that the SS 396 375hp were optioned with black paint on the back like the LS7. I think that is where the idea may have came from.

Airpower

its hard to tell how much of that was sarcasm and joking, but none the less:
notice the vinyl decals on the rest of the car, probably used the same stuff on the front.

I plan on doing the blacked out nose like the LS7 car. I love that look.

Not sure if I'll go w/ the blackened stripe for the rear, but the front end looks hot!

At first I thought... Why did they do that... I actually like too. I was thinking of adding it myself. My plan is to get red and I think it makes the front look much better.
