My JBA + Pace Setter Cat Back was $820...I get zero drone and the raspyness of the stock exhaust with High Flow Cats is gone.

I went with solo on the cats and was running thier mach x exhaust since last winter. Together the sound rocks. The engine revs so much faster, on the intial ride I hit the rev limiter on the first run out of the shop. Amazing difference the car pulls like a frieght train. I dont need a dyno to show me the gain.

As I understand it for the L99, the Solo cats have a flex section in their mid pipe just like the stock ones. And the JBA is a solid pipe. I don't know if the flex section is really necessary or what issue with the L99 that it is supposed to solve.
Maybe some L99 guys can inform us about the pros and cons of flex vs solid midpipes.

Hi, for me LG are the best ones, I inatalled them and tuned the car, the sound is great (not disturbing) and you can feel the power.

I doubt there is a big difference in performance between the JBA and Solo mid pipes they are both 200 cell. |

Ok. Here are the facts
1. Solo claims & guarantee there hfc, jba does not 2. Solo has the flex pipe using the gm technique And jba does not. 3. Solo hfc are 40% more expensive than jba 4. None of the hfc are throwing error codes. 5. I'm more confuse now then ever lol HAS ANYBODY INSTALLED JBA HF CATS ON A L99 ? If so please let us know if you had any problems with not having the flex pipe ! |

I think you are over thinking this decision. You will be happy with either one in my opinion. Just make a decision and go for it.

I can speak on the solo cats as being a top notch quality product. Never seen the jba ones in person.

You are correct when saying none of the JBA or SOLO cats are throwing error codes. Read the below and you should find what you are looking for. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ight=jba+cats* |

My car stock with a corsa catback put down 360 to the wheels....after new era cai and dyno tune it put down 379..(Ls3)
I installed the solo high flow cats and it put down roughly 390 with a tune....Solo's cats sound badass with the corsa....there's a video with the dyno sheet on one of the solo threads of it |

I have the Solo Mach-X cat back, Doug Thorley shorties and just added the Solo high flows. It wasn't until adding the cats that I noticed any difference in performance. These cats really woke it up! That's where all the restriction to flow is. I wish these cats were available before I spent good money on the headers and cat back, the high flow cats are all you need! Added performance and sound!
