Come on March!!!!!!!!!!!
So the "mild" street tune....what kind of power are we looking at there? I know Derrick talked about it a little above, but will it basically be slightly less overall boost?

Basically, yes. We can lower the boost a bit without it going rich, so if we want to run only 10 psi it will take a separate tune. Not sure what that tune will be at this point or what boost we will be on the track-ready 93 octane tune either. Time will tell.

Should have another update later today. Made about 10-15 more HP on 101 octane. Looks like we are probably reaching the fuel limits on gas as well. May pick a bit more once we get some vacuum on the crankcase, but for the most part it looks like we've done what we can safely do.

Most speed/race shops sell it along with methanol.

Wow great job D, you would've had these great numbers 2+ years ago if the LLT was up to snuff!

So really just turbos, fuel pump, and a good tune? The reason you couldnt hit 500 on the LLT was because of the tuning problems? Sorry if these are dumb questions, a lot of stuff to keep up with!

We lowered the compression ratio as well. Might have been able to make this power with the higher CR, but why not lower it a bit if you are getting forged pistons anyway, you know?

We hoped to have everything wrapped up this week, but Aaron need to redesign the crankcase evac system. Should get that finished today and tested tomorrow.
They did do some street tuning and it made 1.5 psi more boost with the intake cover pointed foward than it made on the dyno. Ram air anyone? Last pull was just shy of 550 RWHP (still waiting on the graph), again with no vacuum and an unlocked converter, so on the track it should make a bit more. That's about it for the HPFP, so Aaron is working on something to get around that, but it is a month or two down the road. Hopefully we can do a track rental in early February to test the changes to my car and Ryan's. It will be a 1000' track, but that's better than nothing. (Memphis opens about a month, so hopefully I can get over there by March).
