Not the end of the world, I still think having the upgraded radio is worth dealing with these issues but it would be nice to be able to remotely lock my car again....haha
if your lost unlock, trunk release, or garage distance then yes its the kit. If you have warranty go ahead and chat with them and they will send you a replacement. you will just have to replace the touch screen

By your definition The Camaro are a POS. Their warranty also expires. Anything after that you have pay. They are not many companies that have life time warranties. Radios, cell phones, computers houses does not have life time warranties.
I do know the Scosch dash kit are crap and you are taking a big chance on buying one. I know now if mine goes bad for the 5th time and they do not replace for free I'll be buying a Metra kit or see if i swing 2ssrs mylink radio and installation.

I installed mine about 2 weeks ago and have the same distance issue with the FOB. Emailed Scosche and they said they are aware of the problem but are unable to duplicate the problem and as soon as they have info they will put on their site.

Yay! That does a lot of good.

Fortunately I bought mine through Crutchfield who is amazing. They already offered to send me a replacement to try out (once it becomes back in stock)

You guys that have a working system consider yourself lucky. I don't care what any of you say this is a neat mod to the car but what a piece of crap in design and workmanship. I can't recall another product ever with so many problems. I'd be surprised if Scosche doesn't have a class action lawsuit filed against them eventually.

The only ones who make out in a class action lawsuit are the attorneys.

I have a Scosche kit that I installed over 1.5 years ago, and it still works great. No TPMS issues and no reduced remote range.

but i mean... this issue shouldn't continue for ANYBODY, if its been in complaints for a while now... thats what a good company feedback is all about. especially sales... does that make sence to you?

I do agree that I call BS that they still can not replicate the issue. They had at one point called the engineers to test it out and they didn't find squat. They didn't ask me for my hvac back so to me they aren't interested in testing the bad units. I honestly feel that they may think we are lying. But after so many of us they should take us more serious

That argument makes no sense. Usually, a good product is sold out and on back order more than a bad product. Well, that's unless they're holding back sales due to issues.
